Here at Magnolia House we provide 24 hour residential and dementia care that is tailored around your own personal needs and wishes. Our aim is to provide 24 hour person-centred care.

Ensuring that residents are included in their day to day care and decisions is always at the forefront of our mind to ensure that you are fully satisfied with the place you have chosen to call home. Our staff are trained to the highest standards to ensure that, choice, dignity, fulfillment and independence are in every aspect of the care that is provided.

Your home will always be staffed with the right mix of people to ensure that there is a varying mix of skills available at all times.

Our award winning home provides activities that are tailored to suit the residents prefernces. We have dedicated activity co-ordinator 5 days a week, so the choice is yours, you can choose to join in with our pamper mornings in our very own Beauty Room, Bingo, go out on one of our many trips, or spend your days sat by the aviary relaxing and reading a book.

We believe that it is vital to see beyond the condition and engage with the person. In order to do this our staff receive ongoing training and support throughout their time at Magnolia House, this enables to us to get to know you and provide the care you need most in a relaxed and caring environment.

Time can be spent enjoying daily living activities such as meal preparation, pub quizzes, or maybe some knitting and sewing.

We enjoy listening to your life stories and chatting about past holidays, families, jobs, anything that makes you, you!

Up on our first floor we have a 1940's themed sitting room with an authentic cooker, clothes and war time objects which can help place some of our residents at ease to be around objects that are familiar to them.

Down on the ground floor we have 'Magnolia Arms' our very own bar, complete with dart board, pool table and juke box. 

We have hairdressers avaliable inhouse twice a week in the 1950's themed salon. 

Chiropody and eye examinations also avalible in house. 

In November 2019 we won an award at the 'Caring UK Awards' for the best initivative in care for our 'Magnolias Mission Scheme'. We have helped residents achieve their dreams, this has included hosting an art gallery evening, going swimming and even race car driving. We truly believe enhancing wellbeing is the key to successful care and ensuring life fulfil is achieved at all stages of your life.
