Did any of you watch ‘old people’s home for 4 year olds’?
Following the success of this 12 week program aired on channel four, a local school, Crescent Primary, reached out and invited us to take part in similar sessions.
The children of Crescent Hill will be joining us every Friday afternoon to build relationships between young and old. The first visit saw residents and pupils taking part in craft activities to commemorate Remembrance Sunday, already we saw bonds forming. We now have plans to visit the school for their nativity play, along with the children carrying out a carol service, baking and afternoon tea.
